Hope Makers School launched in April 2024 in Rafah's displacement camp-at that time the only designated safe zone in Gaza. Thousands fled to Rafah, and a team of professionals saw the urgent need to support children affected by the conflict, creating a secure space for learning and growth.
The ongoing conflict has shattered Gaza's infrastructure, with many schools destroyed or unusable, leaving children without access to education. Beyond physical destruction, the trauma of displacement and violence has left deep psychological scars, making safe learning spaces more critical than ever.
